Google changes expandable featured snippet – As they have had the expandable featured snippets roughly over a year, they are now testing and trialling a new design and layout. The expandable featured snippet shows less content in the expandable element.

Google Ads have added a new feature – You now see conversion by time, which means that not only can you see the date of the click but also the time of the actual conversion. So if your ad was clicked on a previous week and that traffic converted the next week, then with the new column it will show a conversion for that week. Also thee standard reporting columns will still count the click and conversion in the previous week.

There are six new conversion (by conv. time) columns you can add:

1. Conversions
2. Conversion value
3. Value / Conversion
4. All conversion
5. All conversion. value
6. Value / all conversion.

Google site kit available to wordpress sites – They have officially said that those running a wordpress website can now install the site kit much easier.

Site Kit gives you data from the following:

• Search Console
• Analytics
• AdSense
• PageSpeed Insights
• Tag Manage

In order to install the site kit within WordPress, you can simply go to plugins>Add New, search for ‘site kit’ by Google and then click install and activate.

Google search console rolls out new speed reports – They have rolled out an experimental and new speed reports that is within Google Search Console. They started this since last May and slowly webmasters have seen this report since then but now Google announced it is rolling out as experimental.

GoogleBot is on Chrome 78 – The GoogleBot officially running on Chrome 78, this started earlier this month. The stable version of Chrome 78 was released mid October which means that the GoogleBot came about ten days later.
