Google’s new “sold here” feature in local pack results – Google has launched a new feature in the local pack called “sold here” When you search for a product, you will notice that there is a ‘sold here’ sign shown for the store. This feature has been rolled out since November.

Google sticky round search bar header is now live – Google has officially rolled out the new desktop search results interface where the search bar header is rounded and sticks to the top after several months of ongoing testing. However, there has already been a ton of complaints in the Google web search help forums. The matter is, all new threads that are related to this seem to be getting grouped into a single thread but that single thread only shows two posts.

Google adds structured data for question and answer pages – Google has officially rolled out a new supported structured data format named Q&A pages. This is designed to help Google with the question and answer formatted snippets carousel, where they let you slide through answers to questions from Q&A pages.

Although they have been showing the best answer carousel snippets for about a while now, Google has now published official structured data markup for it.

Google posts is testing a like button – It seems like the search giant is testing a like button or thumbs up button on some Google Posts within search and maps. If you have a look for yourself, then you can see the thumbs up icon at the bottom right corner of the post.

Google fixes bug prevents signed in users from using search – Users had issues for the past several days, they have been reporting issues with being able to go to Google.com and search the web. This issue happened to some users who were signed into Google. A spokesman from Google confirmed the issue and said it is now resolved with the new update.

Google Search Console performance report drops some images data – The search giants posted a notice in their search console data anomalies page that they dropped Google Images data from the performance and search analytics report. They said that on the 1st of December and onwards, some data for clicks in Google Images from mobile devices was dropped.

Although it is not clear if this data was lost for a short period of time, like just on December 1st or if the data won’t be displayed for security or privacy reasons going forward. Google has mentioned that this is just a reporting thing and has nothing to do with actual ranking or performance in the search results.
