Google is testing results pages that mention filter box – The search giant adds a box to the right of the search results page that lets you check off those words and then Google will highlight those results on the search results page.

Google is testing bubble design for search tools bar – Google is testing a bubble design for the search tool bar. The search tool bar is near the search bar, which lets you filter your search results by search vertical, like Google News, Google Images, Google Maps and more.

Google ads new reporting for insights, trends, growth opportunities & More – They have launched new reports and features. The beta for the new Insights page in Google Ads will be rolling out in the coming months. You can get custom insights tailored for your business, including search trends that help you find product or service categories where consumer interest is growing the most. They are also testing performance max campaigns, a new way to buy ads across all of Google’s inventory.

Performance max campaigns is also included in the new Insights page to help you understand what’s driving changes in your performance.
  • New campaign inputs – Although automation helps you drive better results, your expertise and knowledge of the business can improve how machine learning performs. You can speed up the campaign learning process by specifying which audiences are most likely to convert. Also you can combine these inputs with value rules to indicate which conversions are worth the most to your business based on characteristics like audience, location and device.

Google AdSense channels changes – They have made a few changes to how channels work within Google AdSense. So basically it is more integrated with the reporting section.

Below is the list of the changes:

  • They have improved the user experience and given channels a new, modern look.
  • As channels are mainly used for reporting, they have moved them into reports alongside the other reporting features.
  • They have removed the “Targeting” checkbox from custom channels, because advertisers no longer use targetable ad placements.
  • Google lets you access your channels in the old channels interface for now. At some point Google will remove the old interface.
